To all chapter members :
Welcome, I hope everyone had a great time at the May meeting and I would like to thank everyone from jacobson culinary academy for there hospitality in hosting our meeting. On May 5th our chapter had the privledge to participate in the Ryan Wells Event "Evening With The Chefs" it was great to work with other area chefs for such a great cause, we helped raise over $100,000 for the foundation that will go back to area culinary programs and scholarships for students. I would like to thank the Foundation for letting us participate with Joe Erickson, Bobby & Dillon from Northeast High, and John Harris along with his great staff. We are in need of an August meeting location, so if anyone is interested please call me to set it up. Our annual golf tournament is coming up in September at Isla Del Sol Country Club please mark it on your calendar it will be a great time. May was our last meeting, and now we break until august so I hope you all have a great summer and enjoy the beautiful weather.
I would like to offer a certification assistance program which would work like this, if any chef working towards certification attends 9 meetings(which is one year) the chapter will pick up the initial certification fee ($100 - 200) depending on level . Wow!!! That's a great deal not only can you get involved but you can better yourself and further your career.
